One year has passed since we boarded Europa at Montevideo harbour for a very pleasant trip to Ushuaia. An experience we'll never forget.
Not just being on board and actually allowed to participate in sailing this magnificent vessel, but also the great company of both crew and guests we met on board during our stay. We fondly remember being on white watch with Jacq (including astronomy lessons at night!), watching birds from the poopdeck, seeing Paul hammering away as the new ship's carpenter, shouting 'har! har! har!' whenever we felt was necessary (like: always!), great food from Renske, the lectures on Michiel de Ruijter by Jan and humour and great reflections on Life (with a capital L) at the bar...
Thanks for the great memories, we treasure them!

Everybody who returns from 2 or 3 months on Europa says they at once want to return. My boyfriend has done this trip. I wish him a plesurable experience, but shall I expect I must to find another boyfriend when his trip is over...and that his life aboard Europa will have been much better than life ashore? Brigitta

I think I am going to go down the coast Salvador, Itacare, Puerto Seguro, Rio then fly to the falls for a few nights.
Hi David and others,
I think there is a lot to do in Salvador. On this site www.tripadvisor.com you can find a lot of intresting things to do, see etc.
Funny to see I'm the only dutch man on this cruise. Off course beside some crew.

Hi all,
Joining the Europa for the voyage from Las Palmas to Salvador, can't wait for it to begin!
Anyone got suggestion for Brazil, still doing some last minute thinking on what to do!
Regards,
Dave.
