A nice calm day of Drake sailing

Hello all,

Water temp: 3.4 *C

A nice calm day of Drake sailing. The day started with some engining still, but in the morning we could go on with only sails.

The VC is feeling much better then yesterday in general. The last buckets are left in the deckhouse. When the sun came out, many people came out on the deck enjoying the nice weather and the bright blue sea.

At 12:30 at the daily citizen science bird watching some beautiful birds were spotted. With enthusiasm the different species were figured out and studied.

We crossed the convergence today. This morning the water temperature was 5.7, in the evening it was 3.4. We have entered Antarctic waters.

All well, groetjes, Janke
