Who hasn’t crossed the Atlantic Ocean on a Dutch tall ship these days? (sarcasm detected)

Certainly a unique experience but, for 3 strangers from different backgrounds meeting for the first time it has been extra special.

After about 3 days of adjusting to the conditions, the 3 of us found ourselves enjoying song and each others company up on the sloop deck. Soon it became a routine for us and other members of the crew wanted to join to share the chorus. From time to time songs were sung in Irish Gaelic, Dutch and English.

This experience seemed to strengthen an already strong sense of friendship on board for many of us on an adventure of a lifetime.
