Don’t do it

“Haul away the halyard!” may not appeal to everyone, but is does make sense to a sailor on a tall ship. Some of the commands on board wake up a naughty little schoolboy in me. I started making up some silly commands myself. When executed they will most probably cause confusion. So before I yell them out loud, I definitely want to make sure no one is going to do anything with them. 

Here we go: ‘Boil the clues! Lee to windward now! Furl the frizzles! Bunt the buckles! Wash the sheets! Brail the sideways! Start the sloopdeck slide! And then Hail the shackles! 

Are you still with me? No? perfect, then it’s OK.
