Cato joined the crew of Bark Europa in the spring of 2023 as a cook's assistant, working closely with the Chef Cook to prepare meals for up to 60 people per sitting. Together, they manage the daily tasks in the galley, ensuring that every meal is crafted with care, even in the most demanding conditions.
Since joining, Cato has sailed to incredible destinations, including Cape Town, Montevideo, Easter Island, multiple Pacific Islands, New Zealand, the Falkland Islands, and has participated in two Antarctic seasons. With a background in various hospitality venues, including several years spent in Berlin, Cato is no stranger to the fast-paced and often chaotic environment of a busy galley. She thrives under pressure and is deeply passionate about cooking, always striving to serve our guests the very best, no matter the circumstances. Her dedication and positive energy make her an invaluable part of our team, ensuring that every meal is not just a necessity, but a memorable experience.
