Kobus joined the Bark EUROPA office in 2021, bringing a positive energy and a wealth of experience from his background in sailing and working in hospitality on another tall ship. He’s a perfect fit for the role, combining his knowledge of the fleet with a genuine care for the well-being of our crew.
Crew planning can be a real challenge, especially with so many team members scattered across the world, having to travel to the ship in very remote locations, but Kobus tackles every challenge with determination and focus. He works tirelessly to ensure everything runs smoothly and that the crew is well looked after. On top of that, he handles the complex web of orders and logistics for the ship, keeping track of countless details with remarkable efficiency.
Outside of work, Kobus enjoys spending time with his family, working out, and exploring the outdoors with his dog. His dedication and down-to-earth attitude make him an essential part of the Bark EUROPA team.
