Originally from Eindhoven, she has a solid foundation in design, having completed 2 studies in Design and Fashion. Her journey took a turn when she joined Europa in 2021 as a cook’s assistant.
Over the next two years, Sarah excelled in her role, working closely with our Chef Cook to ensure smooth operations and high-quality meals, demonstrating her reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
In the summer of 2023, Sarah transitioned to the deckhand team, showing her versatility and eagerness to take on new challenges. This shift marked a clear expansion of her skill set, from culinary arts to maritime duties. Recently, she furthered her commitment to sailing by enrolling in the Enkhuizen Zeevaart School. Whether in the galley or on deck, she brings a strong work ethic and a willingness to take on new responsibilities.
