My name is Ansleigh, and I’m a 23 year old sailor from America. I’ve been sailing ever since I discovered it as a career option, and I haven’t looked back. I joined Bark Europa during the maintenance period in Zaandam in the summer of 2025.
I'm a passionate sailor with experience on a variety of tall ships, including the schooner Adventuress, brigantine Matthew Turner, barque Picton Castle, and Dutch brig Morgenster. My work has included sail training, science education, and seamanship instruction across the Pacific Northwest, Canada, and the Atlantic.
When I’m not working, I’m usually still on the water, either enjoying recreational boating, walking along beaches, or learning about the birds and marine animals that share the oceans we sail on. I love to write and draw as well.
