Jonathan is from Ebeltoft, Denmark, and began his sailing career on board Training Ship Danmark in 2021. Since then he sailed on a various amount of Tall Ships before joining the Bark Europa during SAIL 2025.
He sailed on several traditional vessels including Sørlandet, Bessie Ellen, Schooner Opal and Statsraad Lehmkuhl. Jonathan worked internationally in rigging, carpentry, and boat building.
When not at sea, he enjoys surfing, skateboarding, music, and spending time on the water.
