Katelinn grew up sailing with her family in Washington State, USA, and discovered traditional sailing as a high school student aboard the beautiful schooner Adventuress. Over the past 20 years, she has built an impressive sailing career. She gained experience on the Bark Europa, U.S. Brig Niagara, Picton Castle, and eventually as Captain on the Adventuress.
Katelinn previously sailed aboard Bark Europa as bosun from 2017 to 2020. After gaining further experience on other ships, she is now back on board, this time joining us as mate.
We’re delighted to welcome Katelinn back to Europa in her new role!
