The life on board resembles a microcosm. Influence from outside is reduced to a minimum. Neither Donald, Vladimir or Benjamin nor WhatsApp or Instagram play a role or direct our thoughts or feelings.
Our screentime has been drastically reduced. Make-up and choice of clothes are suddenly no longer important. The social standing plays equally no role like the car brand that you drive at home. What counts are our own strength and capabilities that we can use to our advantage and that of our crew members.
Some are successfully fishing, some are making music together, offer photo editing workshops or are peeling potatoes. Everyone is literally pulling on the same string. I had the pleasure of getting a hair and beard cut. Sitting in the sun on the look-out, surrounded by warm wind and with unparalleled view it was a special pleasure that others were able to enjoy too.
