Stun’sl set and the decision to go…
As we cross this vast ocean we’re flying along, a full set of sails and a working crew.
Decision made, we’re going fast enough to reach the Cook Islands early… Aitutaki firmly in our sights we set more sail and Europa blooms in her full magnificence… photo’s taken and pride of every sailor on board full. Nothing is certain and we squeeze each part of sail to get more power, we have a shared target and we are determined, now to see if we can keep our speed and make our self-imposed deadline!
Today we also learn more, lectures and information given on the whales we hope to see and turtles we hope to encounter. A wildlife haven awaits and each of us want to know what we’ll see and how we will impact it. Sailing along, we feel in rhythm with nature… we learn how to be and what to do so we don’t disrupt this precious balance.
