Mostly SoutherlySOG: 6WND: NW 3 - 7 bftThis morning the voyage crew had a long walk at Whalers Bay, Deception Island.Blue skies, sun and a light breeze kept us nicely behind the anchor.Quite the opposite of yesterday afternoon.At 1200 everyone returned to the ship.Just before lunch, we unfurled the sails and got ready to sail.We hoisted the Anchor, got every one to pull lines and as we left the bay Sails were set.A great way to exit the Island.The rest of the day was filled with Sun, Sails, Laughter and beautiful views.By the evening we passed Trinity IslandBy the night we met the first Icebergs and found our way through the fields of Sea ice, Growlers and Bergy Bits.Great People, Great Ship, Great Area!Great to be back!Groeten Fosse Fortuin
