Dear sailing community,

Bark EUROPA is looking for a cook to join us on our sailing expeditions. We are sailtraining vessel, sailing around the world yearlong with trainees from all over the globe, offering a unique and rewarding international experience while promoting responsible travel.

The cook is responsible for the meals on board Europa. In cooperation with the cooksmate and barhand, he/she is also responsible for housekeeping.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Previous cooking experience on ships and/or groups of 40 – 60 persons
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with guests and crew in a friendly and professional manner.
• Proven ability to manage meal planning and orders
• Availability from April 2024 for around 120 sailing days per year and the ambition to be a member of the Bark Europa team for several seasons
