14nm to equator crossing

Goodevening,

POS:  00'10 N  30'49W  14nm to equator crossing
CRS:  220'
SPD:  5,6kts
WND:  SE 4bft
SEA:  Slight
SWL:  SE moderate

Exitement buzzing through the ships crew. We are crossing tonight. ETA midnight. Some even stay awake for it. No moon, no showers for now and no engine. At last the wind backed somewhat.

Now I have to find the nice paper in my cabin to make the 30+ certificates.
Rudi used his chair detention to write a song about the journey so far and especially for the galley crew. At the former 8' o'clocky, wich is now the 10 to 7 o'clocky he sang it. Big cheers and applause after.

Rgds, Arian
