The relatively calm mornings of the past few days have given the voyage crew fantastic opportunities to make Europa's bosun happy. A small group have started to gravitate toward the forepeak, looking for odd jobs.

Whalers Bay

We spent the last night at anchor, in a relatively sheltered spot on the outer rim of Deception Island, dealing with 35 knots of wind, gusting up to 40.

The grey and cloudy skies early in the morning were forecasting a rainy day, and indeed, around breakfast time the rain started, and was going to be with us for the whole day. Typical weather for this part of the world.

Zodiac cruise

Melchior Islands, Zodiac cruise and starting our way to Ushuaia through the Drake Passage. Great farewell to our fantastic experience in the Antarctic continent, the no-man land.
