First day in Antarctica

Hi all,

Position: 62-56S 060-41W
COG: at anchor Telefon Bay
SOG: 0.0KN

Yesterday was yet another day of sunny weather. A bit windy early morning during the approach to Elephant Point, but already dropping off when we started the landing. Very well organised!

After a 7 mile transition during lunch and the second landing at Hannah Point. The voyage crew celebrated their first day Antarctica in the deckhouse and on deck.

How exciting and to have had such a (relatively) smooth journey there. Clearly a very competent crew and good winds :-)
